Gurkhas Himalayan Hydro Limited is a public limited company engaged in hydropower development in Nepal. The company is currently developing the Upper Junbesi Khola Hydropower Project (5.875 MW) located in Solududhkunda Rural Municipality–2, Solukhumbu.
Originally established as a private limited company in 2073 B.S., the company was later converted into a public limited company in 2080 B.S. The corporate office is located at Putalisadak, Kathmandu.
Under the leadership of Chairman Mr. Bishnu Kumar Maden, the company has made significant progress by securing survey and generation licenses, power purchase agreements (PPA), and grid connection approval. The project’s civil construction commenced in 2081 B.S., with testing and commissioning targeted for 2083 B.S.
